Travelling with other pets (not dogs)

Modified on Wed, 22 May at 1:05 PM

I want to bring my pet (not a dog) with me on the trip, what do I do?

Only dogs can be booked in dog cages - no other pets.

It is entirely possible to travel with ordinary pets such as cats, rabbits etc. The animals must be booked as pets in the car and kept in the car during the crossing.

Ordinary pets (not reptiles) can be transported in closed transport boxes for animals (applies domestically and Hirtshals–Kristiansand), provided that you, as a guest, stay on the outside deck with the pet during the entire crossing. The animal must not be taken out of the transport box at any time.

Pets are not allowed in the common areas inside the ships.

Walking guests cannot bring pets other than dogs (see above).
