Age limits overview

Fjord Line’s age limits depend on your route and the type of trip

you want. Our age limits apply to unaccompanied minors.

For boat trips (transport), there should be at least one parent/guardian for every 10 children or young people that are under the age limit. For cruises and day trips, there should be at least one parent/guardian for every 5 children or young people that are under the age limit. Please note that the age limit applies to unaccompanied minors. A parent/guardian is considered to be a person over the age of 25 who is travelling in the parent/guardian’s place and who assumes responsibility for the child/children who is/are under the age limit.
A person travelling as a parent/guardian must submit a guardian form two days before departure. This form can be obtained from your local booking office or downloaded here. Completed forms can be sent to your local booking office or emailed to info@fjordline.com.
